I was walking down a highway and I passed this construction worker who was attaching a piece of sidewalk. As I was walking by, I noticed this huge blue-and-white Interstate sign that said "Illinois I-80"... I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I slipped and fell into this huge puddle of mud and cement dust. The construction guy came over and asked me if I was okay and I started cussing him out. He looked at me and said, "How much is that dress worth? A quarter?" I was about to cuss him out again when he pulled out a quarter of a million dollars out of his pocket and he handed it to me. Stunned, I took it and walked away.
We (Charles, Tim, Jon, Linda & I) were sitting late at night in the living room when we heard a loud banging on the balcony door. We turned on the lights to see a huge macaw flying around on the balcony, squaking and trying to get in. I recognized him as my pet from a long time ago (Note: In real life, I have never owned a bird!) named Baby, who I had to set free because he was too wild. So we let him in and he flew around everywhere for awhile, then rested gently on my arm.
